  Richard Dawkins Gets "Expelled" by Ben Stein!

  i just got back from seeing the new movie release "expelled" which is a documentary exposing the militant culture of supression regarding intelligent design in the scientific community.

  in a "million years", i never would have imagined that ben stein could get the author of "the god delusion", richard dawkins to speak favorably about i.d.

  (intellignet design).

  i am a very passionate person.

  when i believe in something i will research, speak about it, all with passion and true gusto.

  if i have someone to be intimate with, i am passionate about them, enjoy time and moments with them.. i cook with passion (you need an italian accent to that) i love with passion, i live with passion and i work with passion.. so too my job - i really love what i do - i have a passion for advertising - i find it exciting.

  Praise God, shame the devil! it dosent matter how much you guys discuss this idea the outcome is going to be the same, Jesus Christ is Lord! So debate this fact forever, I know you will. Dawkins is made of dust just like the rest of us and he is nobody special. Just another one of the Devil's imps, guys get real!

  Confused!! Help!!

  ok so here goes...ive fallen for a guy, who seems perfect for me, everything ive ever wanted in a man, kind, sensitive, caring and reliable.

  only problem is, he is not a jw and i sort of am, sort of meaning, i was brought up in the truth i have gone through rebelious stages and just passed them off as wanting to experience, i nearly married a jw but the night before the wedding he called it off and said he wasnt ready (we had sleot with each other beforehand, so he prob didnt see the point in going ahead anymore!

  got what he had wanted!

  Take the time to find out who you are and what you want. everyone you meet in the beginning is going to be Mr. wonderful until you get to really know them or make some kind of commitment then they change. If you believe in God then know that you are not in the "truth". Jesus Christ is the truth not an organization.

  If Jesus Christ is not their head, and he is not then you have other more important issues to think about like your SALVATION. Im not trying to tell you what to do because we know young folks don't like that as you have already stated. you are on this site so you know we do not agree with the jw teachings. everything they teach is not a lie but the most important thing they leave out is the deity of Christ and that should make you run.

  do some research and pray to God to help you make your decisions. One of the things the jw do say that i agree with is to put God first. This is not an easy thing to do unless you know how. Reading a Bible that has not been changed like the nwt is a start. find a church to visit if you have the nerve, which may not be easy for you due to your upbringing but you will find beneficial, i know this.

  define who you are and what you want before you join someone else in your life. this takes time and is well worth the efford for your LIFE.

  you say you would marry tomorrow, thats kind of quick especially since you say he is 10 yrs older than you. that dosen't mean a lot but just know that marriage is not to be taken LIGHTLY. This is something you will have to live with the rest of YOUR LIFE. get some counseling before you get married. everyone should do that. you are not going to get any easy answers here i hope not because you have asked a complicated question.

  we show lots of love here so know that most of us here want to see you prosper in your life.

  Never Had Strong Feelings - Did You Experience that as a JW?

  when i went to a funeral and i cried cause i thought it was what you were supposed to do.. went to a wedding and didn't really care, just was happy cause everyone else was.. there was just never any strong feelings, except depression of course.. but anyways, did you guys ever experience that?

  no strong feelings as a jw?

  now that i'm coming out, i'm noticing that i'm starting to actually get more feelings... not sure if that's a jw thing or just cause i'm seeing a phychiatrist now... however, i do notice that with hubby, no strong feelings.
